Hemm żewġ sinjali differenti għal POĠĠA jew QAGĦAD BIL-QIEGĦDA. L-iktar sinjal komuni jsir bl-idejn forma ta’ Y bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-idejn iduru biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’l isfel waqt li jinżlu ftit ’l isfel. It-tieni sinjal isir b’id waħda tieqaf fuq quddiem forma ta’ U bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ U mgħawġa bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. Is-swaba’ tal-U ta’ din l-id jitqiegħdu f’salt fuq is-swaba’ tal-U tal-id il wieqfa.

There are two different signs for SIT DOWN. The most commonly used sign is made with the hands in the shape of Y with palms facing inwards. The hands turn so that the palms face downwards whilst they move downwards. The second sign is made with one hand held stationary at the front in the shape of U with palm facing downwards. The other hand takes the shape of bent U with the palm facing downwards. The U fingers of this hand are placed suddently over the U figers of the stationary hand.
